Recording and analysis of this session

[ORGANIZATION] is studying how people use [PRODUCT OR WEBSITE] so we can make it easier to use. With your permission, we will record this session.

What we record
- Your screen while you complete the tasks, including anything visible on it.
- Your voice, if you think aloud. [We will not record your face.]
Before we start, please close anything you do not want recorded, such as email, chat or personal accounts. Use the test details we give you, not your own passwords or payment, health or ID details.

How the recording is used
- Our research team reviews the recording to find where the tasks were hard.
- We use a service called Lighter Journeys, which processes the recording for us. It transcribes what you say, rates whether each comment sounds positive or negative, and measures things like time on task, clicks, scrolling, switching between windows and pauses. These results help us find moments to review.
- [Keep this line if listening sentiment is on for your workspace.] Lighter Journeys also sends short parts of the audio to outside AI services, which judge from how you sound whether you seem frustrated or pleased with the task. Lighter Journeys does not use your voice to identify you.
- [Keep this line if your workspace's training setting is Training allowed.] Lighter Journeys may also use the recording to train and improve its analysis, as its privacy page describes.
- The results are not used to judge you, and no decision about you is made from them.

Where it is stored and for how long
- Lighter Journeys stores and processes recordings in the United States. Some outside services it uses may process parts of them in other countries.
- We keep the video for [PERIOD] and the transcript and results for [PERIOD], then delete them.

Your choices
- Taking part is voluntary. You can stop at any time and skip any task.
- You can ask us to delete your recording at any time by writing to [CONTACT]. We will delete it and the results made from it. Backup copies are removed within about a week after that.
